A few words about the Artist.
Melpomeni Chatzipanagiotou is an international published, pen and ink artist from Greece. She holds a BA(Hons) degree in Graphic Design. After graduating she delved further into the Fine Arts and pursued a career as an Illustrator.
She specializes in dense and detailed monochromatic art. Well known for her works on real wood slices that pay homage to Mother Nature and her typographical illustrations.
With over 10 years of experience in the creative industry, Melpomeni is working as an independent Illustrator, creating work for clients and design agencies worldwide. Her work has been commissioned by Lionsgate Entertainment Corporation, Michael O’Mara Books, Staedtler, Pilot Pen, The AARP magazine, Bond Design Agency - just to name a few. When not working for clients, she delves deeper into her own personal craft.
Her work has been featured by various magazines - newspapers online and in print, most notably in The Guardian (Observer).
Melpomeni has traditionally published 4 colouring books, her fifth book ‘‘Dream Voyage’’ comes out in 2025.
